Common questions

How do the controls work?

Tap to rotate, two-finger tap to rotate back, drag sideways to move, drag down to soft drop, and swipe down fast to hard drop. Sensitivity is in Settings, and Settings → How to play has the full guide.

How do challenge codes work?

Every game summary shows a code of letters and digits. Tap it to copy and send it to a friend. They choose Code on the menu and enter it to play the same piece sequence.

Why does the Daily Challenge count only once?

So everyone competes fairly on the same sequence, only your first attempt of the day counts. You can play again, but later attempts do not change that day’s result.

How do I change the language?

Settings → Language: Device, Tiếng Việt or English. "Device" uses Vietnamese when your phone is set to Vietnamese and English otherwise.

How do I turn off music or vibration?

Settings has separate volume sliders for music and sound effects, and a vibration switch.

How do I delete my data?

Settings → Delete records removes all records, replays, statistics, streak, missions and stars. Uninstalling the app also removes all of its data. We keep no copy.

Will my records move to a new phone?

Dropora has no account or server, so data moves only with your system backup (iCloud or Google backup) if backups are on and you restore from one.

Does it need the internet? Are there purchases?

No. Dropora plays fully offline, is free, has no ads and no in-app purchases, so there is nothing to restore.
